Reservations
Lodging reservations can only be made through the park, effective March 19, 2007. To make a lodging reservation, call the park toll free at 1-800-491-1764.
If you are reserving 10 or more rooms or cabins, please ask for our group sales manager, Janet Wheatley or contact her directly at 864-391-5380.
Types of Lodging
Lodge Rooms: Seventy-eight lodge/motel rooms sleep 2 to 4 people and include a color television, telephone, automatic coffee maker and 2 double beds.
The nightly rate is $48-82, plus taxes and transaction fees.
Lodge rooms in the 200 section are located next to the lodge and restaurant. Lodge rooms in the 300 section and 400 section are located lakeside.
One Bedroom Cabins: Eighteen one-bedroom/one-bath duplex cabins accommodate up to six people. The duplex cabins, located 100 to 150 yards from the lake, include bath and bed linens, basic cooking and eating utensils, television, automatic coffee maker, air conditioning and heat, outside grill, picnic table and telephone. Two double beds are located in the bedroom, with a sofa bed in the living room.

The nightly rate is $68-105, plus taxes and transaction fees.
The Guillebeau House: The park offers a unique overnight experience in the restored Historic French Huguenot Guillebeau House. The Guillebeau House includes two bedrooms which accommodate up to four people, bath and bed linen, basic cooking and eating utensils, television, automatic coffee maker, air-conditioning and heat, and a fireplace.
The nightly rate is $87-135, plus taxes and transaction fees.
Group Lodging Facility: The Barrack is ideal for groups up to 13. This facility includes four bedrooms with an assortment of bunk, single and double beds, two baths, a kitchen with cooking and eating utensils, and a living room with television.
The rental rate is $117-172/night, plus taxes and transaction fees.
Camping
Enjoy camping along the shores of Strom Thurmond Lake. The campground includes 44 sites that rent for $15-17/night, plus taxes and transaction fees. Each site is packed gravel and has individual water and electrical hookups and picnic table.
The campground is convenient to restroom facilities with hot showers. All sites accommodate RV's up to 30 feet, 21 which are waterfront. A dump station is also available in the campground.

Camping reservations must be made for a minimum of two nights. Reservations requested less than one (1) day in advance of check-in must be made directly through the park.
For example: If today is Friday and you are making a reservation checking in on today, Friday, you must make the reservation by contacting the park directly.
